Amway Corporation was founded in Ada, Michigan, U.S.A. in 1959. Its Co-founders, Richard M. DeVos and Jay Van Andel, were still in their twenties when they innovated the idea of direct selling for a range of quality consumer products. They started the company using their home basements as an office and warehouse. From its humble beginning, Amway Corporation has grown rapidly into an international enterprise that benefits millions of people worldwide.
